The Trobots were formed in the fall of 2003, and we’ve been striving for excellence ever since. Here at Timken, we realize that this isn’t just a competition, it’s about learning to work together as a team and learning be responsible.Our team, Team 1386, is located in Canton, Ohio, near the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This year, we will be competing in the Buckeye Regional at the Wolstein Center, March 20 - 22, in Cleveland, Ohio. Good luck to all those who will be competing against us! |
| As the building season approaches, we divide the team into five groups: Chasis Design and construction,Construction of the Field, Electronics, Safety and Web Design. Our faculty members and our large group of mentors are the ones who head our “separate divisions”, and they have vast experience and knowledge in Engineering, Design, Physics and Programming. All of our work on the robot is done at our own school. Last year, our materials were donated by Canton City Schools , IEEE of Akron , North Point Engineering , and Union Metal .
